Sheriff Mike Kanalakis is proud to announce that a promotion ceremony will be held on Wednesday January 23^rd at the Monterey County Board of Supervisors Chambers. The ceremony commences at 2:00 PM and is open for all to attend. The Board of Supervisors Chambers is located at 168 W. Alisal Street on the first floor. A reception will be held outside the chambers immediately following the ceremony. Please join the Sheriff and his staff in congratulating our newly promoted members.

The promotions are:

Ray McLaughlin promoted to Chief Deputy Custody Operations Bureau.

Pat Hunton promoted to Captain of the Custody Operations Bureau.

Kevin Oakley promoted to Commander of the Enforcement Operations Bureau.

Scott Ragan promoted to Commander of the Enforcement Operations Bureau.

Jose Mendoza promoted to Commander of the Custody Operations Bureau.

Rosie Aguayo promoted to Sergeant of the Custody Operations Bureau.

Fred DeLaSantos promoted to Sergeant of the Enforcement Operations Bureau.
