Sheriff Mike Kanalakis and Chief Steve Deering present Deputy Lanny Tipton a Meritorious Award for his outstanding performance and his efforts in the reconstruction of the South County Range.

Deputies Cleveland Wallace and Victor Roman were awarded a Lifesaving Award  for saving the life of an inmate. Deputy Wallace is pictured with Sheriff Kanalakis.

Commander Tracy Brown and Deputy Brown received a Lifesaving Award for saving the life of a family in Castroville whose house had caught fire.
